Sorry, I don't know the answer to your question. I was just curious what you are doing that you are running out of busses? I can't think of a time that I have ever even gotten close to running out of busses.

I agree! More BUSSES!! I come very close to running out of busses a lot, surely we could have 32 or more of the suckers .. please digi! For instance, in a rock mix i'll usually have a couple of kick mic tracks which I buss together down a mono aux, then 2-3 snare mics, again bussed. Then my entire kit goes to a stereo aux so there's 4 auxes used just on the drums! I'll then usually have 3-4 stereo aux tracks for effect returns so just in that i've used 12 auxes already. Don't even let me start on guitars (2-3 mics per amp which are often bussed to one mono aux). I guess in the old days i'd commit my multi-mic setups on the spot and these days I defer my decisions a little more but why not when you have playlists, non-destructive editing and 32 tracks! Cheers, Marcus

I don't understand the limit on number of busses myself. Seems like you should be able to add busses until the cpu just couldnt handle more. Any comment from Digi on why this is limited?

Hey when you guys bus.. say I want to record a drum submix on a separate track... What setting do you use for HD buffer size? Should you knock it back down to 128?
