Maybe one of the JS Midi plugins does it. Have a look at midi_note2channel

Thx MichaJo, ive tried a few filters, but e.g. note to channel doesnt filter just the note i want to filter..it rechannelizes the selected note... but thanks for tryin...so simple in logic,u would use an instrument called a mapped instrument and each of the 127 midi notes can go to a different midi instrument,,,used it all the time.. thx Guido

Some years ago I decided to get rid of the ILok key thingy I just thought, sooner or later it'll brake or I lose it somehow. I tried the dongleless version of Logic 5.51 and guess I was lucky to get the right one. Works like butter here. Even under stress with 3rd party plugins and lots of audio, I never saw a difference to the real thing. Which is the eights element in the periodic table? I used Logic as my main DAW (for some years on a professional basis, but not anymore, now) since '98 until this early spring, when the 1.3 GB fault hit me. Which means around 6 years with one and the same version 5.51. You get to know a program you use that long. Quite a different aproach compared to the sometimes weekly updates with Reaper... I enjoy both I am having a whole lot of fun with Reaper, and thinking about improvements is part of it. Everybody has his own personal list here, but there is always hope that your main wish may be in the next pre... It really keeps things exiting. When Schwa made his note names appear on the piano keys it was like having birthday to me. (btw my real birthday is approaching soon, soooooo...) I had an intermezzo with Sonar7 that also has no proper input processing. That was a huge issue for me, as my SY85 has no octave switch other than deep in the menue. I tell you, the moment I had this Logic routing ready I was like " Now I rule the world". Had a crazy grin in my face for weeks. Doing the same with Reaper soon after was a no brainer. Cool to know someone else can figure what that means to me. I think anyone who has any old Logic version should do that with any other DAW. The environment hasn't changed so much. Btw, has it since it's Mac only? Any new objects or possibilities?
