can you provide me with some info of how to record analog? i see some machines going for like 5000 on ebay while some others 100 dollars...i don't get it if you could help me understand the analog recording would be good.
Practically speaking, analog recording requires recording to tape, either reel-to-reel or audio cassette. Yes, prices vary greatly. Just like cars. You can buy a Ferrari for mucho $$$ or a Volkswagon for a lot less. Why are you so interested in analog recording? For the average person it's a very expensive way to go if you want a good quality recording.
I'm also curious as to why you want to record analog. You're going to go through a lot of effort to get a lower quality product.

digital recording just tries to become analog......why not record analog in the first place....and also why doesn't anyone produce analog recording machines anymore so they can become cheaper
Hmm. Not sure where you heard the myth that recording to tape is good - digital capture is, in every way, superior to analog. No one is making tape recorders anymore because no one wants them.
