automatic midi notes name?

hi from Italy; my problem is that i'm not able to find a way to have the notes in the sequencer automatically named according with the plugin that i'm using.. in particular this is a problem with plugins like battery 3 cause i haven't got external midi controllers and i would compose only in midi editor.. but i can't without notes name! i know it's possible to save a map of names and to load it, but I can't write the note name of all the drumkits!!!! any suggestions? any other plugin that can solve this problem? thank you!!! (sorry for my english)

ok, probably i know the reason no one answered me.. after searching in reaper forum i understood what i need is a midi map :) anyone knows about a midi map for battery 3? i haven't found one..

There's no Midi map for Battery 3 in general. It depends on the drumkit (or samples) you're loading in Battery. If you're loading a "standard" kit (eg Battery factory kits) you might have luck searching the Reaper forum (or Stashbox) for a Reaper drummap. If you load individual samples there's no other way to make your own drummap. (double-rightclick on Piano keys in Midi editor to name the notes).

Thank you nofish.. I think i'll look for a plugin with integrated sequencer, i think it could solve my problem (and improve seq midi capabilities).. now i'm triyng Fxpansion Guru, but i find it a little bit complicated, and i don't like its organization.. anyone can suggest something else?
