What program did you use to rip these movies? Also I know that you said that you dont have the log file, but if you do some more conversions can you post the log file here?

What you may want to try is to check your movie before you burn, using "Daemon tools". That way you can check the movie before any cd is burned, this is a must have for you my friend! forget the "Burn and check" step; and relay on load and check istead..... :devil:

Unfortunatly because the 3rd cd came out OK there is no way for me to look at that log file and spot the mistake that made the 2nd cd start to mess up. What I would try is to re rip the 2nd DVD the way you have been and do the conversion again. If you still have problems then post that log file. That way we can look and see whats going on.

Update, the problem was indeed the wrong field order. The auto setting picked A, when it was actually B. Thus causing the video error. That's why when I encoded it with TMPGEnc's SVCD templates, it picked the right field order. So now I can't just pop in a DVD and let DVD2SVCD take over. To be safe, I rip a little bit of the VOBs and test the field order with DVD2AVI and TMPGEnc.
