I changed the date from 15.December.2003 to 10.December.2003 and restarted. Now I can't open system preferences and a whole lot of things. Can't even change the date to normal. PLEEEEESEEEE HHHHHEEEEELPP me recover my computer to a normal state. PEACE

Have you searched the support area on Apple's site? Unless it's some weird type of permissions issue, I'd say delete the Date and Time prefs, though I can't seem to find them anywhere in X. You could try trashing the /User/Your User Name/Library/Preferences/com.apple.systempreferences.plist Guessing that this is likely a much larger issue than just this date and time thing though. It might be best to back everything up to another HD or aCD-ROM (if you haven't already, you should) and wipe the drive and reinstall everything. --- c
