Hello everyone, i have the following issue: I am using a korg electribe as a controller and everytime i turn the "pattern" knob, the program of the VST Synth that i am using is changing. How can i program reaper not to accept that particular program change message from the controller and only?
I have found the solution but not inside Reaper. What i did is to configure the Electribe using its Midi Filter setup(check the manual)not to send or receive the Program Change message. Keep that in mind just in case somebody bumps into the same issue. Have a nice day everybody. Cheers

Hmm, I thought it's off by default (sure is off here when I insert a plugin): Open the plugin gui of the Vst synth and click the button with the plus sign [+] next to the preset selection field in the top header. There is a menu entry "Link to MIDI program change". Set that to "No link" should do the trick. But maybe you are talking about the synth's own patch system? Then the Reaper internal solution would be a MIDI plugin to filter the unwanted messages in front of the synth.
Hey goffer thanks for replying. Sadly there is no knob for changing patches :( I am talking about the synth's own patch system indeed. Are you aware of a midi filter plugin like that?
