@hattia Thanks to bb. Now, we know that where we can find other DV Codecs. MainConcept is still a demo version. I'm not sure whether it'll put any logo onto an output movie or not. You don't need to use any extra avs script to run this software. It's just a codec as same as an mp3 codec, which you need to listen to the music. It's a module to handle a specific file format, in your case, AVI file that encoded with DV format.

The free Mainconcept DV codec will only put a logo watermark on if you are encoding to DV. If you are using it to decode from DV, say converting from DV-AVI to MPEG1 or 2 in CCE, then there will be no logo.

OK CCE 2.62+DV codec can now read my DV AVi....but I have a trial version of CCE2.62 which adds a logo ...so I have to use CCE2.5 with AVSYNTH...damn it !! My understanding is that I must use DVD2AVI to create a .d2v file ....but  actually DVD2AVI (version 1.76) cannot read the DV AVI file.. Any ideas ? thanks

You don't need a .d2v to use Avisynth, just use AVISource() in your script with the .avi file, instead of Mpeg2Source() with the .d2v file. -h

You all convinced me ! DVDWorkshop is a pretty cool software for creating DVD (more intuitive than DVD Maestro) but ..its MPEG encoder is not really efficient to compare with CCE. So, the nice solution is to re-encode your DV-AVI with CCE ([CCE2.5 + AviSynth] or CCE2.6x) Next, remux (.mpv + .ac3)) with TMPGenc and use those mpg files into DVDWorkshop. Thanks all !
