What happens to erased Trks?

When something gets erased I don't see them in my trash...Where can I find them?? Thanks guys

Your recordings stay where they are. In the folder where all the other stuff of your project is recorded. It is all just erased from the project, not from the HD. If you do an undo after erasing, all is back again. The data is deleted from the harddrive only, if you choose "Clean current project directory..." from the file menu. -Data

Hey Mr Data, That's what I thought but I can't find them?? SOmetimes other trks are selected out of view on me and they get erased and I save the edit and find out later another trk was erased by mistake....ANyways it could just be this song file....I have three finished edit trks I can't find so I'll keep lookin'.....Thanks!

The best way to prevent and take control of this is to not use Reaper's defaults.Make a folder called say ReaperSongs.Then make sub folders in there with the title of the song/tracks you are working on and save each project to that.Then you can check and clean just the folders you know won't affect other projects. I do this and re-load the song after cleaning just to check and don't empty my Recycle bin until happy :) HTH :)
