I am getting an error from ProTools that I have never gotten before. Basically what I am trying to do is to record from an Auxillary track via the internal bussing system back into an audio track. Is this not possible? I should have a good enough computer to handle this (G4 TiBook 500mhz with 768mb ram). I'm using an mBox. I suppose that I could just bounce the outputs of the tracks and import the bounce, but that seems unnecesary to me. Is it not possible in ProTools LE to record off an internal bus? Also... I am getting lots of USB error messages from ProTools. While the Mbox is not connected to a USB hub, I do have a hub on my other USB port. Could this affect the Mbox's performance? There are some latency issues with the Mbox which I know have been addressed in other posts on this board. Could someone explain to me a solution to this? I am so glad that this board is here... Thanks Nathaniel Hare

Have you tried running Norton Utilities and Disk First Aid to find and correct any damaged or corrupted stuff?

Hey.. im afraid your LaCie drive just wont work with PT no matter what you do. Unfortunately, i found this out the hard way too. It turns out, LaCie drives dont have the Oxford 911 chipset which is required by digi in firewire drives. check out Its a 60 gig 7200 rpm with the Oxford 911 chipset for $200.. you cant really beat that! Good luck.. Erik
