Lawrence... no time to Photoshop in George vs Godzilla? :) I just finished a new computer build and realized X1 was coming out in a couple of weeks, so why bother putting Sonar 8.5 on a new machine? I downloaded Reaper as a temporary solution, and am now happily going to keep Reaper after the evaluation's up. I don't prefer it for everything, but when I have a moment of inspiration and want to get something down fast, Reaper rules. It shouldn't be able to compare to Sonar, etc.... but for many uses it really does. And still less than half the cost of an X1 upgrade (for us amateurs, anyway)...? If I wasn't already invested in Sonar... If Reaper had existed ten years ago... Oh, wait, I mean: +1 And I think I've got some weird kind of virus.
