Synchronization software for backing up to hot-swap removable firewire drives...

I have been using Granite Digital hot-swap firewire drives () with much success. I consistently recorded 32-34 tracks at 96k 24 bits onto one 120gB IDE drive in these hot-swap cases without issue for 2-3 hour shows last fall. Since shows were often more than 100gB I decided to back them up to another removable hot-swap firewire drive. No complaints thus far - it has worked well. I have been using a program called Synchronize! to keep the backup drive up to date with the master drive. Does anyone else do something similar and use synchronization software? Scott

I love the "SmartReplace" function of CopyAgent. Too bad is won't work on OSX.

I used to use CopyAgent's SmartReplace feature too. I recently switched over to FWB's Backup Toolkit. It's OS 9 and X compatible.
