I have a Volvo S80 with 95k miles on the clock. It has been faultless until recently when the battery was flattened. I jump started the car but now the climate control/ air con console is dead. ( No lights or control to the heating system or seats). Also it is now showing airbag service required. There was no problem until the battery went flat. Is there a way to reset this?
Cowan, Try this first , wait a few minutes after switching off the car , disconnect he the battery cables and hold them together for ten seconds or so, reconnect to the battery and see if the CCM module works. Post back and I will let you know what to do next. Mister T.
SRS warning will require a visit to dealer to reset. Disconnecting the battery itself will not trigger the warning, though removing the wrong fuse will!

Hi! Mr T I tried what you said but the problem is still there. I think I'm going to have to take it tio a main dealers. Thanks again for your help. Regards Cowan
Cowan , As long as you (joined the cables together) not just disconnected, and this did not revive the climate control , the next step is at the dealer to have it reloaded and if this fails then a replacement is usually needed, the SRS can then be cleared of the codes. Mister T.
