What's your preferred Search Technique in ReMPEG2 or what is the best ? I've searched all over the net and in this forum, but there is no doc or faq, which explain the differences... Personally I used prediction or gradient, but I don't see a decrease or an increase in the quality

I've tried "Prediction" and "Full". Only notable difference I saw was that "Prediction" took 8 hours and "Full" took 26 hours!!! Guess which one I use

Unless you're transcoding a few cells I would really suggest looking into CCE and following Doom's guide. REMPEG is great to get a handle on, but the quality is often poor.

yes, I just use it to transcode a part of movie or just a cell. Otherwise I would use CCE there is no doubt ! Do you know where I could find technical documentation about this option ? I've already read several guides but nobody explains the signification of all these options.
