hello to all, do anybody has experience with setting a multichannel configuration with Flux Epure in Reaper? my track has 8 channels but when i load Flux Epure (registered), the "setup" page only shows 2 INs / 2 OUTs any help will be much appreciated, thanks
Yeah, I already reported this problem some to the flux developers. No answer. FIXED (2.0.40.4000) It's also not the only bug in their plugins, see FIXED (2.0.40.4000)

Cool. Btw: I've reported these problems for their free plugins, not Epure. But I guess they use the same framework for all their plugins ... FIXED (2.0.40.4000)
about the "block size stuff", apparently, their EQ (Epure) doesn't do that. IIRC, the demo versions do not allow 8 channel processing, and i'm not sure that their free plugins allow this... it's something specific with registered Epure, there's a "routing matrix" connecting IOs to "EQ groups", quite handy... I'm afraid it's a Reaper compability issue as i've succeeded in having 8 channel processing with MaxMSP... anyway, i don't get why they would announce Reaper compatibility if one of the key features cannot be used...

Hi, I am also having a problem with the multi-channel routing in the Flux plugins (Epure, Solera and Limiter). Flux very kindly gave me a 10 day full demo to allow me to test the 8 channel-ness of them in Reaper. To confirm my issue: - load and 8ch file into Reaper or create a 8ch track, will all 8 channels routed to the master. - load up Epure II 8ch and go to the routing setup. Here the only channels available to route or m/s are 1 & 2. All the others are greyed out. Even going into UI mode and trying to force the plugin to work fails - the plugin hosting in Reaper is definitely working and gives me 8 ins and outs in the channel routing window. Just to confirm: the plugins are not faulty as the multi-channel routing works fine in Cubase. Does anyone have any suggestions? It would be a real shame to not be able to use these plugins in such a great 8 channel system. I have also forwarded this issue to the Flux team for advice. Regards Chris

Really.... That is such a shame as they are such good plugins and I morally object to having to by Nuendo for working in 8 channels! Is it definitely an issue with Flux? Could it be that the VST hosting in Reaper is not sending the correct messages to the plugin to tell it to use 8 channels? On another note, I just tried the AU version and the AU hosting in Reaper is not picking up all 8 channels Chris
It is a known problem of some VST code that most hosts don't send to inform the plugins about their channel setings. If the plugin rely only on this code, it uses only the stereo config, even if all the channels can be connected. It is the case of U-he and Virsyn plugins too. See : The solution is in both camps.
