random topic I know, sorry about that. I've got a track which everyone says they like and therefore I'm very pleased with it. However the drums are a little out of time in some places due primarily to a weird tempo variation in the acoustic guitar part (accidental). I was wondering if anyone would be willing to run beat detective on it and apply a new tempo of probably 125-130bpm to the track. If anyone is interested reply to this board. I'll snailmail you a copy of the Session CD (it is an LE file made on Mac but I think that it will be PC Compatible) Any takers? Thanks, C

was the song recorded to a click track or just playing free? if it was recorded using a click track, then i'd be happy to use beat detective to correct the drums. what it sounds like, though, is that the musicians just played freely. and if that's the case, then i'm still willing to tighten up the playing, but i can't promise a perfectly consistent tempo. i can have the drums follow the guitar's tempo variation, or vice-versa. if this sounds like something you want, then email me and i can send you a list of stuff i've worked on.

Yeah stupidly I didn't record to a click. My two options were: 1/ find someone with PT TDM who could adjust to fit a tempo using Beat Detective or 2/ Rerecord the track from scratch using a click. I'm not too keen on the second option cause I really like some of the stuff that 'happened' during the recording. I feel the piano track works well and I'm not sure that it could be reproduced again. If you are interested in doing this then please email me your address at: Thank you so much, Ceri
