velocity edit multiple notes

velocity edit multiple notes 

hi all, i created a midi drum track, and the kicks have too much velocity, i have them all selected in the midi editor and usually one would just shift click or control click on the velocity pane to bring them all down, how do i do this? thx proto

Welcome to the forums! :) Method #1. Select all kick drum events, then grab one of the "velocity handles" (the little horizontal line directly on the event, hover over one until the mouse pointer becomes a vertical double arrow) and move it. Method #2. Select all kick drum events and hit CTRL-F2. Now type "+10" (or whatever value you want to add to all selected note's velocity) into the 'velocity' entry box.
