WHat should I replace

I've just turned 150,000 miles and it's due a fuel filter, oil change and cambelt. Is there anything else I should change in the cambelt area which is likely to go in the near future? I don't thrash the car if that is of any significance.

Perhaps change the water pump (if this is being driven by the cambelt on this engine). Chris

Check the auxilliary belt condition(fan Belt) and if you don't know the history of them , change the tensioner and pulleys on the cambelt, along with as said the water pump. Might push the price up but will save a fortune if they get a problem after.

I agree, I would defo change the water pump, if it goes then the head gasket can blow on you causing all sorts of problems.

I read somewhere that the water pumps were good till at least 200,000 miles. Also, precisely which pulleys should be replaced? (The aux belt was donelast year).
