(For all OSX versions: ) - open a MIDI item; - change grid resolution (for example: from 1/16 to 1/32); - press enter; - press space (to start playback). Result: Reaper does NOT play, focus is lost. What makes this a bug, or at least a /terribly/ bad UI design: the default OS error sound plays. This should /never ever/ happen in a DAW. It messes up live performances, and live bounces.
yes I have also been having these kinds of problems recently (away from the computer so not able to confirm this exact procedure). I'm certain its a bug though not terrible or even bad design!
BD: Pot calling the kettle black? Um... didn't you just post a big rant about how clean your desktop is and the drawbacks of how MacOS handles multitasking? In fact, all I'm seeing from you so far in these forums is spam, anger, and poorly phrased attacks interspersed with occasional real questions. We don't want to put you off to the community, but would you kindly chill the eff out? To respond to the OP, I would also love to see this bug squashed. Thanks, to schwa for getting back to us.

By the way.....just read BD's stats under the pic. Joined March 2009......36 posts. That says it all. Not on the forum to learn anything or to help anyone. Just feels like ranting. I personally have not experienced the bug you are all talking about, so I can't comment further.
