Ogm and ac3

Hi out there! I try to mux an avi without audio with an ac3 file to an ogm. I'm using Oggmux 0.92 think it is the latest version. First I take this file: Lotr.avi 984 MB (1.032.243.200 Bytes) and as audio this file: LOTR AC3 T01 3_2ch 448Kbps DELAY 0ms.ac3 548 MB (574.778.624 Bytes) There should be enough space to put this on 2 cd's with mode2cd-maker and copy the DSF and so on on the CDs. But lookin on the resultin filesize :devil: I think I did anything wrong: lotr.ogm 2,82 GB (3.029.268.926 Bytes) Did I miss something ? Whats goin on here? Thanks in advance for any help ... blixi

Use Nandub to do avi + ac3 ! 

@blixi, Please use Nandub to do avi + ac3, use OggMux for avi + ogg only. Thanks.

If you feed oggmux with that nandub produced avi+ac3 and simply don't add the soundtrack in the soundtrack list, it'll come out perfectly as well (forum rule no. 1: use the search button! it's been explained SEVERAL times! [it's even in the FAQ if I'm not mistaken]) Koepi

At first sight OggMux transforms AC3 file to Wave before including it in the Ogm file. This is not due to OggMux itself but to OggDS (well in fact DirectShow) which doesn't support (yet ?) this format as input. So the solution : first include tha AC3 track in the AVI file, and then use OggMux to mux the whole thing Or try using OGMuxer (see ).
