New Member! V40 Question please?!!

I noticed that on my s40 t4 as for whether there's supposta be one in the whole i dont know so bit useless really. But like i said mines not got one so maybe they dont have one

there is no grill on the s/v40, but, there is a blank available to use in very cold climates to assist engine warm up. paul

I don't have one either but in the hand book it says there is one stowed in the well with the spare wheel for temps below freezing. Mines missing. The radiator does look a bit exposed without one.

Applies to certain engines only - might be GDI?

The blank is only supplied with cars originally purchased in Scandanavian countries - it says it right there in the Owners Manual.

The blank is for diesel and gdi engines only to assist warm up in -0 temps. My gdi came with one and it is definitely a UK model.

They came witha lot of new the cars when new but disappeared about 2000 . go to B&Q they do some nice mesh in a variety of styles ideal for that apature .
