I'm on the verge of buying EWQLs Symphonic Choirs, Hollywood Strings and HollyWood Brass. I know Reaper isn't officially supported by the Play engine, but I became accustomed to Reaper over the past few years and would hate to change DAWs. I did a search on this and the EW forum, but most threads on this subject are pretty dated and some people say it works great while some others say it's buggy. Has anyone tried these or other EWQL Play instruments with reaper 64bit? How does the latest Play engine (3.0.21)run with the latest Reaper release (64bit)?

I have EWQL CCC running on Win7 Pro x64 and Reaper x64 with no problems whatsoever. I am running PLAY 2, have not had time to update to PLAY 3.

I seem to think HWBrass only works with Play 3, so you need to get someone who is using that configuration to give you the thumbs up... Personally, I am having problems with PLAY 3 in Reaper, but I seem to be the only one...!

Thanks for the responses. The symphonic choirs arrived a few days ago and they are running fine with Play 3 in the latest Reaper version. I ordered HWStrings and HWBrass (both diamond) yesterday .... :-)

I use EWQL Symphonic Orchestra, and I so far I had no problems at all, as you can hear . However I use REAPER 32-bit.

Hi, I am new here and to Reaper...I've managed fine up until I got EWQL, now I'm spending hours trying to figure out why I can record. I have managed to get EWQL to make sounds and show up in Reader with Record armed, but I can never actually record anything that I can play back...any ideas? Puzzled and Frustrated...
