Well, there are 2 possibilities. 1. The subs are on the DVD you are encodimg. Rip the subs with SubRip to bmp files. Multiplex them with the mpeg with WinSubMux. I don't know the details, because never done this way. I am using DVD2SVCD to create mpeg with subs. 2. The subs don't exist on the DVD. Usualy I download text subs (the exact format doesn't matter) and load them in Subtitle Studio. Well, first I play the mpeg in WMP using dvobsub to display subs to see they are in synch. In SubStudio I work with them if need to synch or to split and convert to SubStationAlpha (.ssa) format. Then load the .ssa in MaestroSBT and create submux compatible bmp files, ajusting the style of course. Then multiplex with mpeg in WinSubMux. Done. Further make an image with VCDEasy, importing chapters from ChapterXTractor. Burn with CDRDao. Well, that's it. Greetings.
