Hi there. I have two questions regarding a DivX file : 1) How is it possible for me to demux the mp3 file from a DivX movie without decoding it to WAV ? To what it's worth, the mp3 I wat to demux is VBR. 2) Is there any program that will show you which bitrate a DivX movie was encoded at ? Likewise, is it possible to find out at which bitrate an mp3 file was encoded at ? Thanks in advance for any answers.

1. Use . Use File...Save WAV. Save the file as <name>.mp3. You use the Save WAV command regardless of the type of audio stream. It doesn't decode, it only demuxes, the command name is misleading. If you need to demux a second audio track from an .avi with multiple audio streams, instructions can be found in the FAQ in the "Audio Related" Forum. 2. Try .

Aha. To be honest, I had never tried the Save WAV option of Nandub cause I thought that it would decode the track. Thanks for letting me know. Also, I'll try the proggie you suggested to see if it works. Thanks. ;)
