How to forward MIDI to FLS as a VSTi?

OK, I'm using FLS as a VSTi in REAPER. I tried to forward MIDI from my MIDI keybord in REAPER to FLS. But it doesn't work. Does anybody knows, if should work? Is that a settings problem in REAPER or is that VSTi just not able to receive MIDI? Thanks, Jan

Just to clear it up, you're trying to get fruity to record the sounds coming out of reaper right? Or did you mean making your midi controller play the sounds from fruity into reaper?

it does work, remember that every FL track is 'hard wired' to a midi *channel* ... so if you play in midi channel 1 only the first fruity track is triggered. channel two triggers two.. etc. hope that helps.. david

Thanks for your reply! But normally There's an indicator that FL recognizes incoming MIDI. And when FL is in VSTi mode, it doesn't indicate anything. And to your reply. IN FL, I can just select any channel I want, and FLS automatically routes all MIDI to this channel, no matter if it is an instrument or a drum sampler. Jan

sorry, if this sounds a little silly: have you enabled monitoring in reaper? i forget this all the time...
