preamp advise?

Who can advise me about some multifunctional preamps for vocals/bass/guitar. Of course in a reasonable price range. personal experience means more to me than relying on articles. thanx maybe some mic`s too?

Deep, I would recommend the Langevin Dual Vocal Combo made by Manley. Two mic pre's, two simple eq's (hi and low shelf), and two Opto compressors! All in one box and at a very reasonable cost. This is a pro unit, and it sounds great. Very versatile. Plus you can use the eq's or compressors seperately for mixdown. Can't go wrong...

You can also check out the Vintech Audio Dual 72. These are great built mic pres that use the same components and design as Neve 1272's. I dont know what you are looking to spend, but I got mine new for 1225.00.They sounds killer. They arent mulitfunctions but if you need an external compressor, you could pick up an RNC for about 175.00. Just a thought! Ron
