ProControl software revs

Well, am finally the proud owner of a not-so-new but very functional ProControl. I'll get to the superlatives in another post (it sure does rock, though!), but for now I'm interested in whether there's any info available on the PC software revision history (either firmware upgrades or Pro Tools software revs that have changed ProControl functionality). My unit dates back to the 4.2 days; clearly there've been changes since. For example, the master Mon/phase button no longer queries the system monitor state; it now toggles it (good move, by the way). I'd like to avoid printing and reading the entire current User's Guide after just spending the weekend with the one that came with the unit. Is this information available anywhere?

Your ProControl firmware will automatically update with whichever version of ProTools and ProControl personality you have installed. That's it.....nothing to think about really. It's all automatic!

That's cool. but what about the revs to ProControl functionality? My manual's definitely not up to date, so it would be great to have some sort of summary of what's been changed or added over the years.

AE, just check the "What's new" PDF documents in the Technical Document Library. There's always a section for ProControl with changes implemented since the last software version. Cheers Arthur

Look at that -- a "Previous ProControl" category, listed in the second column, with a 5.0/5.1 addendum that's just what I need. Thanks!
