DivX with AC3 on a 5.1 system, but only 4 speakers play sound

hi, I've a strange prob! I use a 5.1 audio-system and when I'm watching a DVD all 5 speakers are working! But when I play a DivX with AC3 sound the central speaker in the middle doesnt make any noise! but why? :confused:

Perhaps you forgot to tinker with the Intervideo AC3 decoder properties (I assume you're using this one, if not, download it in the downloads section under 'Audiofilters'). This should be doable from within most player programs as they're playing the relevant movie. I should add that I was never able to get the Intervideo decoder to pass directly/undecoded to SPDIF except within Graph Edit. So with that disclaimer, good luck!

It is likely because you have a 2 channel AC3 file 

@yosemite, What is your Soft-DVD player ? WinDVD ? PowerDVD ? or ? Make sure you change the property of the filter to use 6 channels speakers.
