quite hard to figure out what you mean. No offense intended, but would you consider to check spelling before you post ? From what I understood, you have a problem playing back DTS audio streams ? As for the last sentence, I simply don't get it . Please try to rephrase. Not trying to be rude here (I'm no english myself) but if you want to be helped, you have to pay some attention to the explanations you give in your post. What do you mean by "big loud spikes"? What did you use to author your DVDs ? Did you rip the DTS track from an existing DVD ? with what tool ? Which DVD title are you trying to backup ? Waldok
I won't say anything about DVDXCOPY cause I never usedit. Concerning demuxing the DTS track with DVDDecrypter, it should be no problem. Maybe you do somthing wrong when decrypting. My advice is you try the DoItFast4u tool (will also use DVDDecrypter to extract) and let it work for you. I never had any "bad" surprise using it and I got my DTS tracks ready for reauthoring without a problem. Never tried DTS with IFOEdit (by the way drop the 'n' it's IFOEdit), but maybe you can try DVDMAestro to reauthor your DVD so you'll know if the problem is related to the extracted DTS track or to IFOEdit. (I always use Maestro for reauthoring and DTS never caused any problem). Did you do a search on DTS in the IFOEdit forum, just in case there is a known problem ? Let us know how it works. well i will give dvd maestro a try do i have to use doitfast4u or can i just use dvd decrypter and dvd maestro can you explain a bit more dvd maestro never used it . know i will have to transcode as the movie is to big so does maestro do all that need to rip out menus to save space . as you know the dts audio track is big and our dvd disks are only 4.3 gigs so normaly i use remeg2 for trancode does doitfast4u do all that for you and transcode? dvd decrypter makes a bunch of different files for video and audio so how do you get them in to maestro????
