Dynaudio BM6a vs BM15a

I work with the BM15a's in a room the size of a bedroom and have worked with the BM6a?s in a similarly sized edit suite. IMO the headroom offered by the 15a?s is a significant advantage over the 6a?s. I find no problem with mixing at conservative levels. The work I do (dance music and sound design) pushes the upper end of what the 6a?s were designed for, especially in the low end, but the 15a?s handle it all with ease without excessive volume. I don't believe you'd regret buying the 15a's now. Best, -J.

Thanks for your reply. I also was wondering if anyone has heard the BM15a verses the BM15 (unpowered). They seem to have the same components but the frequency response is wider on the powered version according to the website. I contemplated buying the BM6a now and then later getting the BM15 because I already have a poweramp hanging around. But thanks for your input on the BM15a. Decisions, decisions, decisions.......

i am going for the BM15a's after hearing them in a hiphop studio...he even has the sub and that has more bass then a newly stocked lake? sorry fishing crept in there.... anyone know where the best place to buy is...service and price? thanks john
