Has anybody tried those? I'm currently getting sample packs left and right but I haven't seen these particular discs offered separately anywhere and before I order a 50-pack I'd like to know if they're any good. The 1x version () seems to be okay (though a bug/omission in DVDDecrypter wasted one of two discs I had so I ordered another 3 just to make sure my first impression is accurate). And, I'm not talking about the Meritline 2x DVD-Rs () - these are crap (tried two, both skip all over the place).

Hmmmmmmm....Guess I can't say for sure if I got the "new" or "old" ones. Doom9, could you give us a ADVDINFO report on your crappy 2X discs? I would hate to misinform anyone.

taken from the advdinfo thread (I post all my media there and I've just ordered two supermediastore sampler pack and some separate discs from meritline). Meritline DVD-R 2x - ML-DVDR4.7G-2XW-001 (2x) light purple Doom9 (8/2002) 00 42 00 00 01 40 C1 FD 9E D8 50 00 02 8A 0D 14 .B...@....P..... 88 88 80 00 03 54 44 4B 47 30 32 00 04 30 30 30 .....TDKG02..000 These came in the Meritline sampler.. the discs I'm interested in are not available in any sampler, only in 50/100 disc packs.. that's why I'm asking in the first place (I buy samplers quite often).

There's no way I'd trust meritline and buy a 50 pack of those without getting some samples first. I wonder why they don't offer them in single packs...
