A Reaper-enabled, acid-jazzed, song I made: Any help on easy way to pop up the master mix by 2.5db? Am I missing something obvious? I did not want to loose the dynamics so I avoided using a maximizer. There's the old JS "volume" thing, but I saw it in the "unsupported" folder recently. What gives? Backing jazzy track composed on iPhone's Beatmaker, exported as WAV into Reaper. Then used Reaper to record two additional takes of me "jamming" to that, using iPhone's Noise.io synth as the "instrument" i was "playing" (via iPhone headphone out --to-- PC LineIn --to-- Reaper). Then put those two new tracks into a folder and added lots of reverb, EQ, delay, etc. to push them into the background. Render the finished mix to 224 kbps mp3. Not sure if this is trip-hop, or acid-jazz, or what. I didn't know what to put into the genre tag. I think that site re-encodes uploads to 128 kbps mp3 for its widget (not sure) but original file still made available via the "mp3" link above the widget. How exactly to upload an mp3 to a site that's going to re-encode it down -- I figured 224k was a good compromise to start out with. (that site will take WAV as an upload, but not all site do).
